Advent marks the beginning of a sacred journey, a time to prepare our hearts to encounter the Lord face to face. It calls us to readiness—not just for His coming at Christmas, but for the ultimate moment when we will stand before Him in fullness. Yet, the question remains: are we ready? Often, we carry shame that clouds our vision and makes us hesitate. We feel unworthy, reluctant to be seen. But Advent invites us to confront this shame, not with fear, but with trust, allowing the Lord to heal, redeem, and transform us so we can stand before Him with confidence and joy.
